The thought ran through my mind of being a new father while simultaneously fighting kidney disease. Between dialysis and recovery, I feared I wasn’t going to be the best version of myself for my son. One day a patient died next to me in treatment.
That day marked my life forever.
It was then I realized the best version of me included being the best dad I could be to my son. So after a long 2-year journey, I obtained a kidney. Along with my newborn son, it gave me a new lease on life to push harder and be a better father. As part of my process, I began to record my voice and document my new journey as a dad. I initially did this so my son could hear my voice if I wasn’t here. However, it became something more.
It became The Daddy Dialogue Podcast.
As I made more “dialogues”, more and more parents began to join our small community. Some had questions. Some had answers.
A community was born.
A growing group of parents who want to help each other understand the challenges of raising our children. It’s a group effort with different dads with different stories.
All with one goal: To help, encourage, equip, and empower fathers in their fatherhood journey.
How do I leave a legacy for my son when I’m not here? By having helped a dad like his own.
